You should have an eye for detail. Read each and every word. I know pointing own mistakes is little difficult, you could try changing the font style or give it to a friend or family member to read it once.
    2. Lack of Keywords in the resume –
The job-related keywords must be there in your resume. For example, a requirement of “Software analyst” resume should include the term software analyst and clearly state why you are an idle candidate for the profile. Suppose if your resume doesn’t have the right keyword it is most likely that you don’t get noticed.
    3. Don’t put made-up information –
We all know that interview requires confidence and you would be only confident if the information given in the resume is not cooked up. So, putting a piece of fake information is a big No. Most of the recruiters can easily verify each and every detail of the individual candidates within a few clicks and phone calls.
    4. Irrelevant Experience –
Don’t put up an irrelevant experience in your resume. There is no need to put about a summer internship that you did during college days. Every piece of a resume should make it better and give relevant information about your work prospect.
    5. One fits all –
Never think that one specific resume will fit for all the job openings that you are applying. So, before applying for a job check the detail of job posting and edit your resume as per the requirement. Today you need to craft your resume in such a way that stands out and lands the job in your hand.
    6. Don’t use very long and very short phrases –
An employer wants to know your overall capability. You need to be very specific in short yet meaningful words. For example, these 3 phrases say the same thing in a different way. Option 2 is likely to be best out of all three.
      1. I have an experience of 2 years in the software field
      2. I have an experience of 2 years with ABC Company as a software analyst
      3. I have an experience of 2 years with ABC Company as a software analyst which requires coding, app development, and website services to clients
    7. Obsolete Summary –
Whenever an employer lands up on a resume, they read a career summary first. Give employers something specific and focus on their need as well. For example, “Accomplished professional seeking career growth” is more of a vague. You need to write an interesting summary that makes an employer read your resume further.
